Tammy Hahn is running for South Carolina House District 38 • Primary Election: June 9, 2026
People-first leadership for District 38

Real representation starts with listening to the people.

Tammy Hahn is running for South Carolina House District 38 to bring transparency, compassion, and common-sense leadership to Columbia. District 38 deserves someone who shows up, listens, and fights for working families, students, seniors, and everyday people.

Meet Tammy

A daughter, single mom, grandmother, retired RN, student, and neighbor who believes District 38 deserves leadership rooted in service.

Why she is running

Tammy has called Inman home for over a decade. She is a daughter, single mom, grandmother, retired registered nurse, and student at USC Upstate University. Her campaign is rooted in a simple belief: our children and grandchildren deserve a future where leaders protect people instead of playing political games with their lives.

Tammy is running because District 38 deserves honest representation, more transparency, and a representative who understands what families are actually facing at the grocery store, in the classroom, at the doctor’s office, and around the kitchen table.

Campaign snapshot

This campaign is about building trust with voters, showing up in the community, and giving people a real choice in House District 38. The goal is not politics as usual. The goal is actual representation.

Priorities for District 38

These issue cards are written as starter campaign language. Edit them as Tammy finalizes her platform.

Working Families

Make life affordable again

Families should not have to choose between groceries, medicine, rent, utilities, or childcare. Tammy supports policies that put working people first and stop treating basic needs like luxuries.

Healthcare

Protect access to care

As a retired RN, Tammy understands that healthcare decisions should be guided by patients, families, and medical professionals—not politicians trying to score points.

Education

Support public schools

Teachers and students deserve support, safety, and resources. Public education should be strengthened, not used as a political punching bag.

Transparency

Open and accountable government

District 38 deserves leadership that keeps people informed and does not try to slip major decisions past the public. Tammy believes voters should know what their representatives are doing.

Civil Rights

Equal treatment under the law

Every person in District 38 deserves dignity, respect, and equal protection. Tammy will stand against efforts that divide communities or strip rights away from people.

Community

Listen first, lead honestly

Good representation starts with listening. This campaign will focus on hearing directly from voters, not just party insiders or political donors.
